How to catch Purple Reef Lobster
Use the Shellfish Tongs. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.
- Equip the Shellfish Tongs and search the intertidal zone along the beach.
- Shellfish are mostly stationary. The Pearl Oyster is the notable exception and can move.
First catch: the creature is added to the Omnidex. Offer it to Mors at the Omni-Gallery to put it on display and unlock its Omnipedia entry.

Habitat: Intertidal Zone. Distribution: All Regions.
Season: Winter. Time: All Day. Weather: Any Weather. If two of those tags are restrictive, check the creature tracker before you set out.
