The Scalloped Spiny Lobster is a "lobster" of the lobster family and lobster genus.
Taxonomically speaking, it seems to possess the most "orthodox" lobster lineage. However, more in-depth research is needed to clarify the exact evolutionary relationship between members of the modern "lobster genus" and the "true lobster genus."
