How to catch Spiny Blind Lobster

Use the Shellfish Tongs. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.

1. Equip the Shellfish Tongs and search the intertidal zone along the beach.
2. Lobsters and crayfish hide in rocky outcrops. Wait for them to emerge, and be careful with gold-quality crayfish that charge at you.

Intertidal Zone · Acanthacaris caeca

The spiny blind lobster lives in the deep sea, where its eyes have severely deteriorated in the lightless environment.

Unable to see, it employs traps. It attempts to lure in the prey with a piece of bait between its small pincers. Sometimes, even if it ends up attracting creatures considered "colossal" by its standards, it will still meet the challenge head-on.
