How to catch Squeaking Silkmoth

Use the Insect Net. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.

1. Equip the Insect Net and approach the creature at eye level or on the ground.
2. Most insects can be caught with a simple net swipe; slow down if the species is skittish.
3. Check tree trunks, flowers, shrubs, crops and aerial spaces — the habitat column tells you where this species spawns.

The Squeaking Silkmoth's "silver eyes" are eye-spot patterns on its wings that shine with a metallic silver luster.

It's generally believed that moths and butterflies evolved eye-like patterns on their wings to scare off predators, but in practice, they don't always work out as intended.
