How to catch Sunset Moth
Use the Insect Net. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.
- Equip the Insect Net and approach the creature at eye level or on the ground.
- Most insects can be caught with a simple net swipe; slow down if the species is skittish.
- Check tree trunks, flowers, shrubs, crops and aerial spaces — the habitat column tells you where this species spawns.
First catch: the creature is added to the Omnidex. Offer it to Mors at the Omni-Gallery to put it on display and unlock its Omnipedia entry.

Sunset Moths are diurnal moths.
Initially, biologists classified them as swallowtail butterflies due to their rod-like antennae. It wasn't until more details were discovered in specimens that they were properly categorized in the Uraniidae family.
Such mix-ups are actually quite common in biological taxonomy due to species looking too similar.
