Petit Planet Currencies and Shops: What to Spend and Save
Dough, Footprint, Miraprint, Lucasprout, Bazaar Jelly, Omni-Vouchers and Luca — where each currency comes from and what it buys.
In this system
Petit Planet uses several currencies, and they are deliberately not interchangeable. The fastest way to waste a week is to assume everything costs Dough.
The currency map
| Currency | Where it comes from | What it buys |
|---|---|---|
| Dough | Story, daily activities, selling creatures and items | Glenn’s Goods, house upgrades, general purchases |
| Footprint / Loomi | Completing Footprints | Loomix Mart clothing and furniture |
| Miraprint / MiraLoomi | Daily Loomix Footprints | Curio Emporium goods |
| Lucasprout | Wandering Stars on voyages, Season of Snowfall dailies | Luca Arbor upgrades; converted into Sea Whistles for Starsea Calls |
| Bazaar Jelly | Galactic Bazaar daily tasks, Aleo’s minigames | Prize Kiosk rewards |
| Omni-Voucher | Omni-Gallery / Giftarium activities | Giftarium furniture and display stands |
| Luca | Story progress | Luca Arbor upgrades only |
If a shop shows a currency icon you do not recognize, check this table before spending.
Dough: the everyday currency
Dough is the main soft currency. It buys furniture and clothing at Glenn’s Goods, contributes to house upgrades, and covers many small purchases. It comes from story progress, selling creatures and items, and general play.
Dough is also the easiest currency to waste. Glenn’s Goods rotates daily, so a “buy it now” impulse can eat a week of savings for an item that returns. Check the furniture and clothing catalogs for the source and status before buying.
Footprint and Miraprint
These two are the most commonly confused pair.
- Footprint (shown with the Loomi icon) is the long-term achievement currency. It comes from Footprint tiers and is spent at Loomix Mart.
- Miraprint (MiraLoomi) comes from daily Loomix Footprints and is spent at Curio Emporium.
The names in the community data are inconsistent: “Footprint” and “Loomi” refer to the same currency, and “Miraprint” and “MiraLoomi” refer to the other. The shops are the reliable distinction.
Lucasprout: the progression currency
Lucasprout is the scarce currency for the Luca Arbor. It comes from Wandering Stars on Starsea Voyages, daily Season of Snowfall challenges and some story milestones.
It can also be converted into Sea Whistles or Curio Sea Whistles for Starsea Calls. That creates a real trade-off: spend sprouts on the Arbor or on pulls. If you are still early in the Arbor, the permanent unlocks are usually the better value.
Bazaar Jelly and Omni-Vouchers
Bazaar Jelly is the Galactic Bazaar currency. You earn it from daily Bazaar tasks and Aleo’s minigames, and spend it at the Prize Kiosk. It is a closed loop: the Bazaar gives it, the Bazaar takes it.
Omni-Vouchers are the Omni-Gallery currency. They buy Giftarium furniture and additional display stands. If you are collecting creatures, the display stands are the practical purchase; the furniture is cosmetic.
What to save before launch
The Final Beta wiped all progress, so “saving” only matters if you are planning a fresh start. A sensible launch plan:
- Do not spend Dough on rotating shop items you cannot use immediately.
- Bank Lucasprout for the next Arbor milestone, not for cosmetic slots.
- Spend Bazaar Jelly inside the Bazaar; it has no external use.
- Check the currency icon on every shop item before buying.
- Keep one stack of Dough for a house upgrade or a neighbor gift emergency.
