How to catch Aurora Swallowtail

Use the Insect Net. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.

1. Equip the Insect Net and approach the creature at eye level or on the ground.
2. Most insects can be caught with a simple net swipe; slow down if the species is skittish.
3. Check tree trunks, flowers, shrubs, crops and aerial spaces — the habitat column tells you where this species spawns.

The aurora swallowtail is a rare butterfly that directly overwinters in its larval form.

Even when temperatures drop below zero, they do not choose to hibernate, but instead try to slow down the intensity of their physical activities, and quietly wait for winter to pass.

Perhaps tempered by nature's trial, the aurora swallowtail's body is noticeably more robust compared to ordinary butterflies.
