How to catch Giant Helicopter Damselfly

Use the Insect Net. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.

1. Equip the Insect Net and approach the creature at eye level or on the ground.
2. Most insects can be caught with a simple net swipe; slow down if the species is skittish.
3. Check tree trunks, flowers, shrubs, crops and aerial spaces — the habitat column tells you where this species spawns.

Rather counterintuitively, the Giant Helicopter Damselfly will snatch smaller spiders right off the webs for a snack. Studies suggest that some of these small spiders developed the behavior of shaking the "decoys" on their webs just to scare off the terrifying damselflies.
