How to catch Red Tilapia
Use the Fishing Rod. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.
- Cast the Fishing Rod into the right water: rivers and lakes for freshwater fish, coastal waters for saltwater fish.
- Wait for the nibbles, then strike when the line bites down.
- Common freshwater fish and gray saltwater fish can usually be caught straight away after the bite.
First catch: the creature is added to the Omnidex. Offer it to Mors at the Omni-Gallery to put it on display and unlock its Omnipedia entry.

Warmwater Zone · Oreochromis mossambicus
The Red Tilapia is a red variant resulting from the crossbreeding of different tilapia subspecies.
Despite their colorful appearance, they are still tilapia in essence, and there is a chance for their offspring to revert to the original black coloration.
