How to read the tags
- Season: Year-Round, Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter.
- Time: All Day, Daytime or Nighttime.
- Weather: Any Weather, Rainy or Snowy.
- Region: the main planet or a galaxy/islet specialty.
If two conditions are restrictive, the creature is rare in practice even if its quality is only Rare.
Catch tools
Fish —Fishing Rod. Freshwater vs. saltwater matters; higher-quality saltwater fish need a slow reel.
Insects —Insect Net. Approach slowly for skittish species.
Shore-dwellers —Shellfish Tongs. Crabs and shrimp flee; lobsters hide in rocks.
Tracker FAQ
How many creatures are in Petit Planet?
Our Final Beta dataset contains 317 creature records across fish, insects and shore-dwellers. The final launch count may differ.
Does the tracker sync between devices?
No. Progress is saved in your browser’s localStorage on this device only. Clearing site data will reset it.
How do I catch fish, insects and shore-dwellers?
Fish use the Fishing Rod, insects use the Insect Net, and shore-dwellers use the Shellfish Tongs. Each category has slightly different capture mechanics.
What do the season, time and weather tags mean?
They are spawn conditions recorded in the Final Beta. If a creature is tagged Spring, Nighttime and Rainy, all three conditions should match for the best chance.
Where this data comes from
Creature records and spawn tags are from public community documentation of the Final Beta. The tracker does not read your game account; it only stores checkmarks in this browser.
